Salvation By Works!
The more you look around, the more you realize that lots of people have this strong perception that it's being a 'do good-er' that earns you an express ticket to heaven! Thus we find Christians who have clearly forgotten that salvation is by grace and you can't buy your way into heaven. This folly is propagated by the 'modern' Christian's affinity to blessings!
The church today has become a blessings factory and 'do-this-and-you-will-get-that' mint! The concept of the blood of Jesus has been abandoned and the power of the cross has been eroded totally! Sensual worship which equates to showmanship, and fluent sermons from 'great and mighty' men and women of God are the in thing!
With a church that's constantly taught that their giving and service to God is what it takes to please God, can you blame her ignorance?
