Where we were taught school is more than books...

A balance of fun and seriousness...a clear demarcation set

Between two sides that determined the learning experience!

High school taught us the eight sides of a coin...yep! EIGHT!

We learnt to fit in and not to fit in at the same time...

Life was about context, content, contest and concept!

Where we learnt the art of the 'pedias': encyclo, wiki, theo

And yet only us could make life make sense for us

High School defined us, made us, inspired us, broke us?

When others learnt that could actually be fun and exciting....

Others learnt there were more uses of petrol than fuel...

Tis the only place where all proverbs were taken for a test drive!

And then there was the love and the romance

Young love, old love, tender love, fresh love...all kinds of love!

The dreams of the future always seemed harder to accomplish each day

But we thank God it came to pass...albeit with lots of drama

High School!...Secondary School!...Up School!...a phenomenon...

Where songs and epic poems and scripts and even words...

Cannot express with fulness and slightest exhaustion

We were, we are, we always will be the High School we were in!
