When The Curtains Fall
It's never often we want to let go,
To that sheer joy; that electric moment,
To that place of comfort; that person of value!
We all want to go about life like there's no tomorrow,
Yet after the final scene is over, the actors will curtsy,
And soon after, the curtains will come falling!
So hence comes this curtsy words,
If you have a heart you might need them!
No! Wait a minute there...You will need them!
Because even the most reliable person,
Can and will disappoint at some point!
And Oh Yes, the curtains will come falling!
It's a beautiful thing to be happy,
And a terrible thing to be sad and broken,
Yet not everything is often in our control,
Not everyone can be leaned on, counted on, trusted!
Not many things last till the end, that's life!
So more often than not, the curtains will come falling!
But we are human and hence tainted
With an ever present possibility of failure
Yet to fail is to succeed later, if lessons are learnt,
So give chances again, forgive and live free of regrets
Because life is not perfect; things will get better!
Even if, the curtains will come falling!
Tomorrow will be better!
