FULL CIRCLE Part 1
Today
we will begin to talk about INTEGRITY and this will go on for the next
few days. So that we can be at par, I will first lay out what God
ministered to my heart while I was speaking in Bomet on Sunday, 28th September 2014 (and what He will
minister as I write this). Then from there, we can begin to hear Him
speak to us some fresh insight.
Welcome to "Full Circle"
Basically everybody has a common understanding of what integrity is or is about. And it is actually commonplace, more often than not, for us to pinpoint what and who has integrity.
The dictionary defines what the common understanding of integrity is as:
-Soundness of moral character
-Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code
When the word sound is used in this definition, it brings us to an awareness of something that has been tested and approved! Something that has gone through the process!
This therefore means that integrity in light of these definitions, denotes moral or ethical character that has been tested and found to pass the test!
It is about an aspect which if weighed on the scales, will not be found wanting!
But today I am here to address the unconventional! I am here to venture into the deep and to explore unchartered waters!
There is another dictionary definition in the dictionary that is quite frankly ignored, and this is where I will be exploring.
Integrity is also defined as the state of being whole, entire and undiminished!
Or, as an unreduced and unbroken completeness or totality; wholeness!
Halleluyah!
What this does is that it automatically shifts the direction of integrity from being the work of man, to being the work of God!
Why do I say this?
It is because full circle is about wholeness, and no man can attain wholeness on their own!
While the two earlier definitions denote the effort of man, the last definition attests to the fact that there is an ingredient that makes integrity possible and this is wholeness, which is only found in God!
And so what I am speaking about here shifts from works and effort, to God and His nature!
Halleluyah!
Because being entire, whole and diminished is not about the effort of man! It is about the nature of God to make whole and complete, what is incomplete!
It is about the very nature of God, to turn around situations that are hopeless, and bring them into perfect completeness; full circle!
And this nature of God, which is established in His love, is the very foundation of grace and truth!
And we all know that truth is the core element of integrity!
And so what I am saying here is that truth is not about the effort of man to establish it, it is about the doing of God (since it is complimentary to grace), which has already made it established through Christ!
Halleluyah!
Full circle is about coming into terms that human effort is not tge principal thing that gets us there, rather, God's nature to love us unconditionally is what gets us there!
God bless you!
