FULL CIRCLE Part 6

...continued from Full Circle; the pre-finale (part 5)
This is Full Circle: The Finale
We have had an amazing 5-part journey so far, and today we get to the homestretch as we conclude this journey on understanding integrity as wholeness.
We have been using the story of Naaman in 2nd Kings chapter 5 as our guide to this concept. Today we still delve deeper into the Naaman story, evwn as we take it to a climax.
2nd Kings 5:13 Naaman's servants went to him and said, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, 'Wash and be cleansed'!"
Naaman was in a state of rage, owing to his protocol and hospitality expectations being dashed, and his wounded pride had got his priorities mixed up; his desire for healing was subverted by his desire for recognition! Now he had already stormed off! He had been given an instruction for wholeness, but his rage had gotten the better of him!
In a momentary pursuit of what was not the original intent of his mission, he lost focus. And losing sight of your mission is tantamount to you being comfortable in your situation!
How many times have you lost sight of things because your focus shifted to what was irrelevant and unnecessary?
And so Naaman's servants come to the rescue! They give him a reality check! They remind him of the original intent of the mission!
There is someone reading this who needs a reality check! Who needs to be reminded of what the original intent of the mission was! Somebody here needs to be reminded that their original intent in asking God for a lucrative job, a car, a spouse, a business deal, a thriving ministry, a good education, etc, was something other than to have a high societal standing!
Am calling you into rememberance! Back to the first love; where God's will was more important than your own will! REMEMBER THE ORIGINAL MISSION!
And so Naaman is called back into rememberance! Because his pride has already dismissed the simplicity of the instruction! He wants God to do something complicated! Because to many a man, complex is what is needed to change the situation at hand!
And so we keep faulting God's simple instruction because we are used to a complex instruction or process being the expected action step! And we keep telling ourselves: "It can't be that simple! It's got to be more complex than that!"
And the more we fail to follow His instruction as it is, the more we wallow in our distress and pain and oppressive state!
Because the hard thing we expected to be told to do, or the big sacrifice we expected that God demands, is not what happens! For God is not interested in all that! It is our obedience He is after!
1st Samuel 15:22 But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
Child of God it is not in the complexity, it is in the obedience! It is not in the sacrifice or in the works, it is in the obedience!
Because obedience is the first step into trust! It is a pre-requisite to faith!
And when Naaman enters into a state of obedience, watch what happens:
2nd Kings 5:14 So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.
Halleluyah!
Imagine that! What a transformation! How good is our God!?
I want you to realize this child of God: Naaman was a soldier! He had scars to show for his many conquests! His skin had blemishes here and there! But when he subjected himself to obedience, he received healing!
Now, he did not just receive healing for his leprosy, but his entire flesh became like that of a child!
Halleluyah!
No blemish! No spots! No scars! No nothing! Just wholeness! Total wholeness!
When you submit to God's instruction, He does much more than you asked for! And when the Lord does it, you will know it is He that did it! Because on top of his blessing being beyond any logical conclusion, it also maketh rich and addeth no sorrow unto it!
Child of God you may have tried out many things in your pursuit for wholeness! And I know that some of them even seemed to work for a while, and some seem to work even as you read this, but how much sorrow do you have deep inside for the paths you have had to take in life, the things you have had to do in life, the scheming you have had to scheme to get here!
You may smile ever so often, you may look lovely in the faces of people, but deep down you know what is making you grieve! And your grief-factor is the source of your incompleteness! It is what is making you not walk in wholeness!
And the only way you will be Full Circle, is to let go of the pain, the hurt, the scheming, the messes and the operations of the past!
Trust in God fully and allow Him to take charge right now.
I am glad you are sorrowful in the areas you are sorrowful in. Because the Bible says that Godly sorrow leads to repentance, which leads to salvation and eternal life! And today I declare wholeness over you, the wholeness that comes from letting go and letting God! Full circle is coming upon you as you shift from a man-directed lifestyle, to a God-directed one.
God be with you!
