FULL CIRCLE Part 3
..continued from part 2. This is Full Circle part 3
We have been speaking on integrity with regard to wholeness. In part 2, we began to look at Naaman's story. In this segment, we take it deeper.
2nd Kings 5:
7 As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, "Am I God? Can I kill and bring back to life? Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!"
8 When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message: "Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel."
The king of Israel has just received a letter that has reigned terror to his very core. Naaman is enroute and he is coming for nothing less than healing! And there's no telling what will happen if he does not have his heart's desire fulfilled!
He only wants one thing; to be whole, and he has been told that his healing lies in Israel. And so to Israel he sets out.
This news does not go well with the king of Israel, for the letter is addressed to him. What is interesting is that this king has an idea of who the Healer is, but he does not have a conviction that the Healer can do His part! He chooses to see the threat and ignores the opportunity! He is a pessimist in nature, and more rightly so, for he knows the exploits of Naaman! And so he chooses to see Naaman and fails to see He that is greater than Naaman; God!
Halleluyah!
Many times our lives are characterized by instant doubt! We claim to know God, we claim we are His children, we claim that God is good all the time, and we even go ahead and quote a few scriptures here and there; but in the face of adversity, when the enemy comes knocking, we forget who we belong to, we forget what God can do, we see only the problem at hand!
Halleluyah!
And so we forget what a Mighty God we serve! And we cower and diminish at the sight of adversity!
But today I came here to speak an arising of the children of the Most High God! I came to speak the manifestation of boldness in His people! The boldness that will make you see God amidst your situation!
The only factor that makes us whole is the God-factor! And when the Lord is on your side, who dares stand against you!
Halleluyah!
Now, this king knew what God could do! But he still saw his woes! Child of God attaining wholeness is about remaining undiminished!
And so Elisha comes to the rescue! He sends word to the king with an instruction! An instruction that shows the difference between knowing about God, and knowing God!
Elisha says "Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel."
Note this: He does not say that Naaman will know that there is a God in Israel, he said he will know there is a prophet in Israel!
Now, this was not about the man Elisha, it was about the Spirit behind this man Elisha! It was about wholeness! About bringing the man Naaman into an understanding that his lack of wholeness was about an ingredient accessible to man! It was about bringing forth the knowledge that when you are walking in God and with God, there is a wholeness that translates upon your humanity and makes you have confidence in whom you serve. And when you are confident in whom you serve, you are confident in who you are! And so wholeness becomes a translation of who God is into who you are! And thus integrity becomes the unstoppable combination of humanity and divinity; man and God!
Halleluyah!
Today my imploration to you is that you come back into the remembrance of who you serve! Because when you realize whose you are, you will understand who you are!
And no wholeness can come in a state of doubt! So, child of God begin to trust God again! Begin to rebuke your doubt and fear of adversity. You will only attain full circle when you understand that the people that know their God, shall be strong and do exploits!
