DOMINATE! DON’T CONFORM
Be it unto me as according to your will Part 1
#BreakFreeOfLimitations
Introduction
It is often amazing how in a Christian walk, theory and practice are often inter-changed to fit into different contexts as we see fit!
Actually, more often than not, we feel very comfortable using convenience to cover up for our limitations in capacity or ability.
It is so commonplace for even the most prayerful believer to let an instance when things are not working out as planned, to get to us.
But, let us take a minute to think about human beings and things going according to OUR plan, and how this reflects upon us.
Prov 16:1 To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.
Prov 16:9 In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
Prov 19: 21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Isaiah 46:10-11 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.
Understanding Planning
There are clearly two dimensions to planning; MAN’s plan, and GOD’s plan! But how often do we consider even the remotest possibility of God’s plan over our lives?
Many are the times we will give up just because our plans did not work out! Or because things are not going according to plan! Whose plan? YOUR PLAN!
How many times do we actually stand back and ask God what His plan is?
Well, that is exactly where the problem is! We plan, and plan, and plan some more, hoping that things work out, but instead we fail again and again, and again, and grow weary, frustrated, bitter and are left feeling unaccomplished!
In fact, we begin to use excuses just to cover up for our failures! But today I didn’t come here for a people who are in the mood for excuses! I didn’t come for believers who are feeling sorry for themselves that things are not going according to their plan!
NO! I came for someone who is tired of counting losses and failures! I came for a person who is daring enough to think outside the box!
YES! Today I came for somebody who is ready to say enough is enough! Someone ready to say: Enough with my own planning! Out with that and in with God’s plan!
I came here today, so that God’s plan can propel you into a new dimension1 a dimension where you #BreakFreeOfLimitations and Let God Arise! People who will rise up and say: Be it unto me as according to your will!
In Your footsteps O Lord I desire to follow ALWAYS as according to Your will!
Lord You are my light and guide...my will is Yours to direct as according to Your will!
