Worship, Love And Grace: PART SEVEN

Hope your week is off to an amazing start!
Today I will begin on Grace as we come to the final week and segment of our Worship, Love and Grace series. Thank you for taking this journey with me so far. Life can never be the same again!
And even before I start I want to speak a blessing to everyone reading this: the Lord will honour the time you have sacrificed to listen to Him. Time in God is an investment worth making, for it is far more precious than great riches and lots of fame! May the Lord make it His business to in turn invest into you.
Grace, according to the dictionary, is free and unmerited favour or beneficence of God
This definition has captured quite a large chunk of the dimension of grace. It is clearly established here that grace:
√Is free
√Is unmerited
√Carries favour
√Carries benefits from God
Let us look at these aspects abit more closely
IS FREE
There is no price tag on grace! It is not given in exchange for a certain monetary value! This is is because the recepient can NEVER be able to pay for it! It is priced too steep!
IS UNMERITED
Grace is kindness and it does not look at the worthiness of the recepient! The recepient does not deserve it, but they will still receive it!
CARRIES FAVOUR
The dimensions that come with grace cannot be explained! Grace ushers you into a realm of access to what is logically and humanly IMPOSSIBLE! There are things you walk in that took everybody else extreme time and effort!
CARRIES BENEFITS FROM GOD
You cannot encounter grace and remain the same way! This is because grace has a way of releasing stuff in your life from God, that sets you apart from the norm!
Halleluyah!
Let us get into scripture!
Ephesians 2:
4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--
9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
Now, that just validates EVERYTHING I have said about grace so far!
The only thing to add is this: Grace is a function of LOVE!
Kindness is manifested only when mercy is at play! And unless a person can love, they cannot show mercy!
Hence God's love births mercy, which is demonstrated in kindness, and which in turn is the foundation of grace!
Halleluyah!
I want to end by bringing us into an awareness of the grace we are enjoying today:
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
The sacrifice at the cross was the epitome of all mercy and kindness! And it released such a dimension of grace, that there could never be an end to grace!
The Lord loves us so! Even as we enjoy grace, it is important to understand that it came at great cost! The cost of the cross!
Ask yourself this: are you faithful to Him or are you taking His grace for granted?
God bless you!
