The Greatness Within PART THREE
...contd from "The Greatness Within" PART TWO
In part 2, we ended by asking two very important questions
1. What kind of investment are you making into your gift?
2. Do you even know your gift?
In this segment we will look at "the paradigm shift!"
A paradigm is the generally accepted perspective of a particular discipline at a given time
To bring it closer home, it is what a particular setting has built as its norm
Now, this is to say that, set norms determine the culture of a setting or entity
Your thought patterns determine the culture of your life...Thus, what your thoughts are, so are you!
Now, funny enough, it is our hearts that often define our mindset, which influences our thought patterns
Proverbs 4:23 says Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
That is why "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"
Note the fact that it is 'thinketh in his heart' and not 'thinketh in his brain'
This is translated into "The state of your heart is the state of your life" and "your heart(set) determines your mind(set); your mind(set) determines your life(set)"
Hear this: the culture in your life determines how you do things in your life!
This is to say, your paradigms are either your liberty(freedom) or your limitation(hinderance)!

Question is: When you want to do something, how does your mind respond to your need?
Does your environment define yoy or do you define your environment?
Now, hear this: if your environment keeps defining you, then you are laying the greatness within to waste!
Remember, it is your gift that 'makes room for you'
That statement is so powerful in this way: that room is being made means that it doesnt matter whether there was no room before!
It doesnt matter if the room before was occupied!
It doesnt matter if there was no plan for a room in the first place!
The only matter here is that there is a gift!
And this gift knows how to make room!

Now, listen: the only reason why your gift is not making room for you, is because your paradigms are set all wrong!
You are set in the paradigms of people, situations, environments, etc determining what you do with your gift!
Hear this: Such a scenario, will give you only as much room as your environment!
Listen: the reason why your situation has been dominating you and determining how you live your life, is because your mind is set on the impossibility of the situation!
But the problem isn't even in your mind, it is in your heart! Your heart keeps going back to the hurt, pain, fear, insecurity, issues, etc of the past!
But I came here this morning to set things in order!
There is a drastic shuft that has to happen in your heart before you can begin to experience the goodness in life!
A paradigm shift will ensure you let go of the past that keeps haunting you!
The past that you keep running away from!
The things you have hidden in your heart that are weighing you down!
When you shift your paradigm, your mind will cease to operate in bondage!
And the freedom that comes with that will see you build a mindset that will usher you into yourself! Your true nature!
God has given you a mandate of rulership and your gift is essential for it!
Change your heartset now!
