Last time we handled: Getting Into Your Element!
Today we handle: The Move Of God Carries His Very Life In It
This is purely a teaching
Well, there is usually a lot of talk surrounding the move of God, and quite clearly, a lot of people understand it differently
The one unmistakeable thing about it is that it is caused by God's will and not the will of man!
And this is so evident because a lot of times, God does not show up how we expect Him to.
But when He shows up, He moves!
And when He moves, it is so evident because His presence is so heavy and His glory fills the atmosphere!
It is in God's move that there is an outburst, outpouring and overflow of healing, deliverance, restoration, redemption, impartation of Spiritual gifts, etc
It is in God's move that we realize that He is not constrained or limited!
It is in God's move that revival is birthed!
The one thing that makes the move of God spectacular is that it carries with it His Life
The life of God is translated from the word "Zoe"
And everytime Zoe is mentioned in scripture, it charactarizes life eternal, life in abundance, God's very nature!
When you come into an encounter with a life force that is so pure and unending, you do not remain the same!
Interesting enough, every believer has access to zoe life!
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have (Zoe) eternal life.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life (Zoe), and have it to the full.
This can only mean that every believer is a partaker of zoe life!
Zoe life is obtained through reconciliation to the source of all life
The revelation for this is that accessing zoe is first Spiritual before it is physical
Therefore, zoe life is accessed through the Spirit
And it is the Spirit of God that carries His Life force!
So, in essence, when the Spirit of God moves, the Life of God moves with it!
Now, how does all this relate to worship and praise?
This is it: our praise and worship is not about music, voice, song and dance!
It is about intimacy, adoration and victory!
Child of God you may sing nice, you may look nice, you may dance nice, and all that! But it may all mean nothing if it is just for show!
When your praise and worship is birthed in the Spirit, it stops to exalt what is of the flesh
When you are praising and worshiping in the Spirit, you allow for the operation of the Spirit of God!
When the Spirit of God is in operation, there is a move of God!
This simply put means that our praise and worship has the ability to birth the move of God!
And when the move of God is birthed, the Life of God (Zoe) is released
So, I challenge you this morning to think differently about worship and praise!
It doesnt matter whether you are in practise or on a pulpit or in any other setting! When you open your mouth to worship or praise God, take it deeper!
And when you begin to open yourself to God's use as you worship, you will begin to ready the atmosphere for an outpouring of Zoe.
So, today break free of your old wineskin mindset and heartset and open yourself up to God's use.
