LEGITIMACY BY ANCESTRY PART 21: RUTH & BOAZ
From Moab to Israel
Ruth 1:16 But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

In a simple statement, RUTH changes ancestry and relinquishes her Moab ties. In so doing she immediately gains access to a foreign and new dimension of lineage set apart for her by God through Naomi.
In one statement, she lets go of the illegitimacy of Moab and embraces a legitimacy in the God of Naomi; In a simplistic deed she sets herself up for validation by God.
As a Moabitess, she is not a partaker of the promise even though she is from Noah's lineage through Terah and Haran! Yet as one under the submission of God's authority, she accesses God's plan.
Today your background may not be ideal, but God is calling you to a fellowship with Him via submission.
