Haggai 1:14 So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God,
Zerubbabel lives at a time when Israel is about to get out of captivity. Remember this captivity is caused by their disobedience!
Zerubbabel, after the return from captivity, becomes integral in the rebuilding of God's house.
Today, God dwells in us and is constantly calling our attention to rebuilding His residence in us.
He has stirred our Spirits into a walk with Him but it takes our obedience to Him, to see the fruits of a temple (us) built for Him.
What is the state of God's temple within you?
As this year ends, honour God by restoring His place of worship.
